This carving of the legendary Green Man is taken from the medieval carvings found upon the misericords and supports within the choir stalls of Lincoln Cathedral. The Green Man dates back to pagan origins and represents the continual flow of the life cycle and is generally shown with foliage around the face and quite often originating from the mouth. this classic interpretation is one of the most well known and documented. It is a beautifully carved and intricate piece with stunning detail. This reproduction makes a most interesting and talked about focal point, taken directly from the original and captures all the fine detail by the master craftsmen that carved this work of art many years ago. Comes with wall fixing and a product label.

These replicas are made by making a mould from the original carvings and then make a cast from resin. These are extremely close to the original and show all the cracks and wood grain.All the replicas are hand painted and finished.
