Description
5″ Pillar candle with the 12th Century Cross printed on it.
The candles have a burn time of around 40 hrs. (give or take)
Â
The original cross was found in a medieval church in Suffolk England.
The cross is known as a consecration cross and marks the spot where the Church was anointed with Holy water by a Bishop.
Very similar crosses had been used widely by the Knights Templar in Europe and the Holy Lands.
They do look great on any shelf or mantlepiece whether used as a devotional source of light or just as an ornament.
