Large Axe Pendant by St Justin of Cornwall.
Moulded in solid pewter, and made in Cornwall.
The large axe pendant is around 4cm across and around 4.5cm high.
It comes in lined gift box and has a leather thong.
This pendant is based on the labrys axe. It has a short handle with two half moon blades. It dates back to 1500bc and is of Minoan in origin.
It was not used as a weapon but was worn by priestesses as an object of veneration.
