Large round Viking disk brooch. Based upon an archaeological find from York in Great Britain.
At one point York was a Viking capital in England and had visitors such as Ivor the Boneless and Aethleflaed of Mercia.
The Brooch is made from solid pewter and is hand-finished.
The rear has the usual Steel Brooch fastener.
It looks great on any clothing!
The Brooch is made by Asgard, who have been making historically inspired pieces and replicas since 2002.
They are primarily based in Scotland and have a second base in York.
