Description

This is a History Bonkers recreation of a Pictish stone found at Bullion In Angus in Scotland whilst building a road.
It is now located in the museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.
It is unusual as it shows a bearded, armed man on a horse drinking from a large horn with a birds head terminal.
The original is thought to date back to the year 900 to 950.

The history Bonkers recreation has taken all the vital elements from the original stone and brought them together on a small but hefty desktop or bookshelf ornament.
The original reproduction captures the spirit of the original Pictish stone. Equally, the rock its carved in contains lumps bumps and fissures.
Our reproduction is hand cast from a rock impregnated resin and is highly realistic.
