The Tudor long sword letter opener is a faithful miniature reproduction of a two-handed sword, from around the year 1500.
It’s presented in a lined gift box.
The original would have had a wooden grip with a leather overbinding.
The letter opener is one of the larger letter openers at around 33cm in length with a polished Stainless Steel blade and crossguard.
All of the Royal Armouries’ reproductions are impressive with both look and feel. A good deal of attention has been paid to capturing the spirit of the original.
