Replica of the official seal of King Richard III.
This reproduction has been produced in a mold taken directly from an original seal and cast in a resin composite to give a very accurate and authentic Red wax finish.
The wax seal would have been bonded to all official Royal paperwork and documentation during the short but highly controversial and documented reign of King Richard III 1483 – 1485 AD.
King Richard III was the last of the Medieval Plantagenet Kings of England and also the last to die in battle in which he lost his life at the Battle of Bosworth to Henry Tudor.
This is a replica of the obverse of the original seal and shows Richard Seated on a throne wearing a crown.
Comes with wall fixing and a product label.
