Our Sutton Moo mug depicts a moo on the hoo!
The mug’s illustration features two cows, one of which is atop the famous mound at Sutton Hoo.
The mug itself is not an Anglo Saxon relic, although one could easily imagine the Archaeologist Basil Brown drinking a mid morning “cuppa” with the then owner of the site Mrs Pretty.
The original artwork was created by Artist and Sculptor Nick Hunter.

The mug is a standard size, around 1/2 pint, 3.8″ tall.
Dishwasher safe.
