Description

William Wallace the great folk hero of Scotland is in many respects a bit of a mystery.
There is very little surviving documentation about William’s origins.
A letter with a seal on it exists in Germany dated the 11th day of October in the year of grace one thousand two hundred and ninety seven.
This letter is known as the Lübeck Letter.

The reverse of the seal depicts a bow with an inscription which translates as William, son of Alan Wallace.

Our version of the William Wallace seal is based upon a drawing of the seal made sometime in 1911.

The history bonkers seal is around 13.5cm in diameter.
Which is larger than the original.
It weighs around 340gms.
Its made from a hand poured and finished polyresin.
On thee rear is a wall hanger d-ring.
