During the war, an enormous amount of goods, both luxury and essentials were in short supply.
Food was one of the essentials and the government produced posters and had a campaign to encourage every one to dig the ground and grow there own food.
The mug is a standard size, around 1/2 pint, 3.8″ tall.
Dishwasher safe.
